New modellingcontract in Holland!
Wow last time I wrote on my blog is such a long time ago! In the mean while I went to Malaga with my friend and also model Angelique. We had a great time, the people were friendly, the environment was beautiful and the weather was nice and warm so we swum in the see a lot. Three weeks ago I started with me new education Medicine at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. I did an exam as described above and passed the test so that’s good for me! After 2 weeks I found a place to live in Rotterdam because I can’t stay in the city I lived before (Nijmegen) that is to far traveling every day. I live in the middle of the center in Rotterdam so that’s a really good place to live. I am excited about starting my new education!
Now I am also planning some photo shooting in Holland before I leave the country again. Last two months I spend more then half of it in other countries, that feels a bit weird but I love to model a lot so it’s no problem for me. The company with whom I always fly gives me now special offers because I already flew 11 times with them this year haha! The better for me because my boyfriend still lives in the UK till Christmas so maybe I could fly for a couple days to him… What the next city will be where I go, I don’t know yet, I will see! I signed a contract with a new Dutch modelling agency Only Model Managament a week ago, hopefully they send me abroad very soon! I hope London again because I loved London when I was there in the summer and I could see my boyfriend again then. If I could go, I go immediately, exams or not my modeling is priority number one! That’s a good sentence to finish my blog for now…

Last part of my trip to London
I haven’t written on my blog for so long, I totally forgot! But now am I back in Holland since yesterday so I have some time to write now. The modelling in Lisbon was succesful, I will probably go back there in September and work for Light Models. After Lisbon I travelled back to London where I stayed for another 2.5 week before I went back to Holland. I have visited some nice places in London of which you can see pictures below. I saw some fashionable cookies which I had to make a picture from haha! So now I am back in Holland for about a week and then I will probably going to Turkey to work there for a couple weeks or so. I don’t know how long I will stay there, I shall see.

Ofcourse I had to visit Harrods. I don't think my trip to London would be complete without a visit. But actually I didn't liked it, the ones in Milan where better!

Portugal 2
Yesterday, I watched the football match in a cocktailbar in the city. There were more Dutch supporters then Spanish but unfortunately the Dutch didn’t win the match. The Spanish were going crazy and some ambulances needed to pick up the drunken people. I watched the match together with my boyfriend, ofcourse, and with some English people who supported Holland as well. Eventhough my country didn’t win the party afterwarts was nice. My boyfriend and I drunk a lovely cocktail and then it was time to sleep. Next day would be a safari so we had to be rested for that! So the safari that was today and it was great. We were in a jeep and during the trip we saw turtles and nice little rivers where we could swim in; see the pictures above. Tomorrow will be a relaxing day with swimming and maybe some hiking again. Wednesday I travel to Lisbon to do some modelling and then on Thursday I fly back to London. So next time when I write on my blog I will be in London again!zaterdag 10 juli 2010
Portugal
This is my third day in Portugal now and I’ve seen a lot beautiful things with my boyfriend! We’ve been walking around to see the city and the beaches. And it’s hot, believe me, a little more then 30 degrees in the shadow so in the sun it’s hot especially when you are hiking! The swimming pool is 27 degrees and the seawater is 24 degrees so not that cold at all. On top, you can see two pictures of me when I was hiking (and running for a bee :P). Further we made a boat trip and swum in the ocean too, really nice. I am almost black through the sun and I can’t do anything about it. I put lots of sun milk on with a high factor because I am afraid to get sunburned and especially because the sun is extremely bad for my skin, but still I become extremely brown, without lying in the sun. The nights here are also nice, the shops are open till midnight and there are lots of people on the streets having a drink and shopping. Another day before we leave we will do a jeep safari, so that would be cool too! And off course I need to work as a model too, probably on Monday and/or Tuesday.

London
Saturday the 3th I flew to London from airport Weeze. There I saw a really fashionable airplane. Really cool such a pink airplane!
So, I'm in London now since three days and I have seen almost all the touristic spots already. Yesterday I visit the Big Ben, Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park and lots more. London is a really nice city with lots of green areas! See the pictures below.

Well what can I say more... Wednesday I will fly to Portugal for 9 days and then back to London. What my next stop will be, I don't know I shall see. But I love London so far and I will probably also like Portugal!

Last photoshoots before London!
Well this week I had my last photoshoots before I travel to London. I did three photoshoots with photographers from three different countries!
The first was last monday with Attilio from Italy! We did a shooting with another female model who worked for the same agency as I work for now, Ice Models Milan. And she is also a really good friend of mine, her name is Angelique Tinga. We made some nice, clean summer shots with the two of us and some pictures alone, you can see the results here and on my facebook!
Last tuesdat I did an really cool shoot with Pritha Primasari from I thought Indonesia. It was a highfashion photoshoot and we made really cool pictures. For the first time in my life the make up artist put make up on my boobs that was funny. And I had to smoke a cigaret which I had never done before so that was difficult, we laught a lot! I haven't seen the pictures yet so I can't put them up here.
And today, my last photoshoot with a Dutch photographer, Mandy Brander. And because she is extremely quick with finishing the pictures I can put some up here! It was a really cool shoot with the same and extremely good MUA as the one from last tuesay, Julia Romaniuta from Lithuania. We did the shooting outdoors because the weather was really nice and we had a specific style of the shoot which need to be done outside.
And last Holland won the 1/8 finales from the World Championships so that was good for our mood!
Next time I will write I will probably in the UK! I travel this saturday, the 3th of July, early in the morning!

Selection in Rotterdam and planning for the summer!
Well last Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday I had to make 6 exams at the university of Rotterdam. 450 students made these exams and the best 20-25% student are allowed to start with an education to become a doctor. Because Rotterdam is far from my hometown I slept at a Hostel with 4 other girls who also did these exams. The exams were not that hard to make but to concentrate for such a long time was more of a problem. We had to make exams on Wednesday for 6 hours for example. But in the evening we watched soccer with the girls and ate together. I made some pictures of the Hostel and all the girls but ofcourse I forgot my camera so these pictures will be online later. Before the 30st of June I know if I belong to the best students, so I keep my fingers crossed!
Today, Friday, I had to go to a modelagency in Holland because they might have some shows for me to do. They will probably send my pictures and stuff to one or 2 designers for who I might do a show in the 6th of September this year.
I am also planning now where I go to in the summer. I think I will be away from Holland for about 3 months, July, August and September and I go to the UK and Portugal for sure and problably also to Italy, Slovenia and Turkey. But for these last 3 countries I don’t have the flight ticket yet.
I also finally found my runway pictures from the runway I did in Maastricht two weeks ago. If I got these pictures in my inbox in a bigger format then I will put them here online. But I finally saw them myself; Peter Stigter made some nice pictures!
For next week I planned two photoshooting, one on Monday with another female model and friend Angelique. The other shooting is on Wednesday with a great photographer in the Netherlands. I also got a new clean headshot picture and new polaroids (so no make-up), see it yourself.

First message on my blog!
This week I decided to write a blog! I thought of it for a long time and because of some changes in my life I decided to do it.
This week my boyfriend went to London for work at Glaxosmithkline and he stays there till Christmas, pfff such a long time! But skype is the invention of the century to keep in contact with him. And I am travelling to London on the 3th of July for modelling; so then we see each other again. So now I’m alone in Holland except from my friends offcourse. Two days after he left I planned a slumberparty with my good friend, Ingeborg. She didn’t have a place to stay so she slept at my place. We watched America’s Next Top Model for the whole evening and drunk our lovelly baileyscoffee. The pictures I made are too horrible to put on this blog so nobody gets to see them hahaha!
This weekend was extremely busy. I had to do a show in Maastricht called Fashionclash on Saturday. It was a really big show with more than 100 models and about 10 designers. I had to walk for two designers so it was peak hour in the dressing room. And it was so hot in Holland, 28 degrees so everybody was swetting, luckily nobody passed out! The clothes where everywhere, I have never seen that much naked people in one room hahaha. Everybody was running and running and running. The dressman wanted to put a guy some tights on, that was so funny. He had to be completely naked for it because his underwear needed to be over the tights. It was pretty embarising for him, but he was good looking so that was nice for the female models, hahah. He was hopping and trying to cover as much as possible but that didn’t go that well, so funny hahaha!
Before my show there was a show for men and I made a funny movie about it. One model didn’t know where to go to at the end of the runway and is signing to me, you can hear me laugh because it looked so stupid. The other movie is also about a show, but this one is for the girls. You can also see our fabulous runwayphotograper Peter Stigter. One girl fell because she couldn’t walk on the high heels. My heels where about 15 cm and a lot of girls where complaining about it. Strange because I thought models should know how to walk on high heels, but some models didn’t do that much shows before. Stupid models, I told them to practice a bit more, it look unprofessional I think. And the girl in front of me stopped on the runway and put her shoes out and walked on bare feed because she couldn’t walk on them hahahaha! Then I also met a man who told me something about work in Berlin, he had some contact there. He will contact me this week so hopefully I can go to Berlin as well this summer.
Sunday I did another show in Westervoort. The show was outside and the weather became a bit bad after 2 hours so it was stressful for everybody. I had to change clothes 3 times so that was hard, but I made it on time to be back for the next walk. In the evening I did a photoshooting, hopefully I did well. I haven’t seen the photos yet. This week I planned another photoshooting but the photographer cancelled. We will make a new apointment within 2 weeks I think.
